Book Title: Little Boy Blue
Author: M.J Arlidge
Series: D.I Helen Grace #5
Genres: Mystery, Thriller, Suspense, Fiction
I read this in book format.
I was approached by book publishers Dead Good to promote their Summer promotion. I was sent three books that they believed readers would love for Summer. Whether it be read in the garden, on the beach or by the pool, these books are bound to pack a punch.
I was given Disclaimer by Renee Knight, In A Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware and Little Boy Blue by M.J Arlidge.
Little Boy Blue is the fifth book in the D.I Helen Grace series. Helen Grace has seen a lot of devastating things in her life but the newest case she is given is particularly close to home. She works her team hard to crack the case wide open but as the killer strikes again, Helen and her team have to fight to solve the mystery before the body count begins to rise.
I don’t want to spoil this for you, but it’s good. It’s very good.
This series is the gift that keeps on giving and the continual use of clever titles similar to children’s nursery rhymes is interesting.
As I wrote on my postcard, Helen Grace is a bad ass. She continues to be incredible throughout this book as well as this series and it is refreshing to see a strong female lead.
You’ll live on the edge of your seat until the moment you put it down.
I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
