Book Title: The Primrose Path
Author: Rebecca Griffiths
Genres: Mystery, Thriller, Suspense, Fiction
I read this in book format.
So, one day, I was scrolling my way through Twitter and stumbled upon a retweet from someone I followed. In front of me, was the cover of this beautiful book. I was lovestruck. I quickly typed out a message, begging the lovely author to let me read a copy and she said yes. And I am so glad she did.
The Primrose Path is the story of Sarah who was kidnapped when she was a teenager. She was held hostage and forced to endure many horrific acts for the eleven days she was there. Now, seventeen years later, the monster that committed the crime is due to be released from prison. Frightened and panicked, Sarah flees to Wales to start a new life as someone new but soon realises someone knows everything about her and is watching every move she makes.
Just thinking about this book sends a cold chill down my spine. It was interesting, it was clever and it raised goosebumps across my entire body. If that isn’t the sign of a good book, then what is?
The book’s back cover has a quote that says this book will make you leave of all your lights on at night and my goodness, is this true.
I can’t say enough good things about this. I loved it.
Huge thanks to Rebecca Griffiths for sending this incredible read my way.
I give this book a strong 4 out of 5 stars.
