I read this in book format.
I was sent a copy of Souper Mum by Kristen Bailey in return for an honest review.
Souper Mum is the story of mum of four Jools, a stressed out woman who is trying hard to get through day to day life with her family. She bumps into a rude celebrity chef when she is out at the supermarket and is judged, harshly, for the contents of her trolley. In a moment of frazzled annoyance, she begins to rant. The rant is uploaded to the internet and goes viral and Jools becomes a celebrity overnight when it goes viral and she decides it is time to fight the corner of all Mum’s, everywhere.
This story is such a good read for women.
You really get behind Jools and what she wants to do and you truly root for her success.
If you’re a Mum that juggles children, rude pretentious ‘other Mums’, chores and a mixed up family life, you’ll love this.
A wonderful read that had me reaching for my ‘Go Jools!’ foam finger!
I loved the book cover too, it had an Andy Warhol feel to it!
I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
