I approached the lovely Drea from Tea Soap Books and asked if she’d be kind enough to send me a few of her creations to sample. I didn’t care which, I just wanted to try anything! She kindly accepted and sent me not one but TWO soaps all the way from the USA.
I chose the Wuthering Heights block soap and the Peter Pan block soap.
The Wuthering Heights is lavender scented
and the Peter Pan is green tea scented.
Both came beautifully packaged with clever library books designs, with even a little ‘take out’ card.
The soaps themselves are open book shaped which, to me, is a positive sign. Is that strange? I really like the positive message of the book being still open.. Yes. Confirmed. I am strange.
The fragrances were strong and powerful, even through the box, with the lavender
taking me straight back to my childhood when I
decided to use my Nan’s lavender pillow spray and doused my pillow in it,
leaving me with a soggy head rest for the night.
The soaps are soft and lovely, leaving your body with the fragrance, long after you’re out of the shower or bath.
I really loved the idea of these and if, like myself, you are a complete book nerd, or you know someone who is, they would make a wonderful gift or stocking filler because they are so unique.
Huge thank you to Drea for sending me these to review, I really loved them!
I give these soaps a strong 5 out of 5 stars.
