I read this in book format.

After months of begging, I was sent a copy of Behind Her Eyes in return for an honest review.

Behind Her Eyes is a story from the point of view of two women, Louise & Adele. Adele is David’s wife and Louise is his secretary at his new job. They definitely haven’t met before. They definitely didn’t kiss in a bar before she knew he was her new boss…
Adele is the perfect wife, she’s stunning and she’s smart but she’s also broken and chillingly, she seems to know everything. How? She begins a friendship with Louise and as time goes on, Louise and Adele find themselves in the middle of lies, deceit and danger.img_2007

After seeing the famous hashtag ‘#WTFthatending’ all over Twitter, I was extremely intrigued by the story and what it would be about. I begged and begged and finally received a copy in the post. I dropped everything and began to read.

Behind Her Eyes is shocking and fantastically dark. The hashtag really doesn’t prepare you for that ending and as someone that has read countless mystery/thrillers, this ending was a complete shock for me.

I rushed my way through this book, sitting down to read it and when I’ve looked, the hours have flown by in what felt like seconds.

This story will chill you to the bone and shock you to the core.

I sat staring at the book afterwards and wondered how something so great could fit in the glorious, orange pages I’d just flown through.

If you want a story with an ending that you’ll never ever see coming, then this one is for you.

You won’t believe it. It’s so unique and original and my mind was well and truly blown.

A few days later and I am STILL thinking about this book.

I give it a strong 4.5 out of 5 stars.
